Stitched has a multitude of great content including podcasts and stand up comedy albums. My only criticism is that the search function leaves much to be desired. The user can only search for the shows, not episodes within them. Meaning that if the user is looking for a specific episode, they could have to scroll through upwards of 800 episodes of some shows before finding the one they are looking for. If this was changed, then Stitcher would be a 5 star app.
Your search engine works poorly...like altavista in the 90s. I'll type in the exact pod title and get 20k+ results, with the one I want lost somewhere on page 63 of matches. Fix this!
Mediocre. So sad I paid ... Must have been drunk. It's like a bunch of lists, settings don't seem to be applied properly - stupid thing jacks my 4g connection playing random junk I am not subscribed to sometimes if I played from the 'front page' ... Podcast addict is frankly a better all around solution
Please fix the glitch causing the page to jump when clicking into an episode. It started a couple of months ago and it's really annoying. Otherwise, I like the content and navigation is easy.
It does an ok job. Doesn't quite'stitch' my list together, partly coz even when I click'Mark heard' it never seems to remember that when I close and reopen the app. But has a massive list of podcasts and has 90%of what I want. Never crashes but sometimes struggles to open looking for an internet connection (even if I want to listen off line).
Really outdated UI. The search engine looks terrible. I don't like the front page look and it would be helpful if I could see how many subscribers each podcast had and to be able to read reviews instead of having to go and Google the pod myself. There is no place to search for categories or if there is I can't find it. Also would love an option to order podcast episodes from oldest to latest so that I can start from the beginning without having to scroll endlessly. I do like the simplicity because it doesn't feel overwhelming just lacking in many aspects.
Stitcher now downloads new episodes in your playlists and Listen Later by default, enabling a more consistent playback experience and easier listening when you don’t have an Internet connection. If you do not want to auto-download, simply go to Download Settings to turn this off or manage how much storage you allow Stitcher to use.
We’re hard at work on some big updates to Stitcher, stay tuned!
