About this game

Immerse yourself in a gripping, interactive science fiction text adventure story (CYOA) where the fate of the world depends on the choices you make.

Story: On the outskirts of a dark town, a woman awakes in an empty motel. With no memory of who she is or how she got there, she will rely on your judgement and quick-thinking to help her make choices, learn the truth of her identity, and the secrets of a mysterious pulse that seems to be the cause of it all.

The Pulse was designed to reward players for their relationship building as much as their problem-solving. The player's health, the trust built up with the protagonist, and the items you find, will all impact what choices you can make and how the story unfolds.

I just finished and got my first ending, and what a trip it was! Others say it is bugged, but there are times you have to wait a bit. There are a few mistakes (character knew another character's name before learning it, missing periods, capitalizing errors, etc.) but it really isn't jarring to the story. The story, speaking of, is absolutely frabjous! It keeps you on your toes, leaving you itching to continue onwards. The app itself keeps the aesthetic rolling amazingly. Truly a must-have now!!

While it's an interesting premise, the text autoscrolls so slowly its frustrating for anyone above a third grade reading level. Even on its highest speed setting it was an intolerable plod, exacerbated by occasional forced ARG pauses. There are also occasionally awkward sentences and grammatical errors that detract a bit from the experience.

The story seems interesting and I get that I have to wait for a "realistic gameplay". I love the Lifeline games so much so I know the deal about waiting. However, the Lifeline games have checkpoints where you can go back without having to restart the whole game everytime you lose. I don't have time to repeat everything and wait hours and hours again and again. That's insane.
