I have an HTC One, Strava is not able to pick up my location - all other apps I've tried can at the moment, so.....suggestions? I'd like to be able to use this! Amended - early review was a 1*, now improved. I contacted Strava supported who quickly recommended a couple of suggestions - in my case, getting the OS on my HTC One up to 4.2.2 fixed the issue. Now to use the app properly - so far, the experiences are good!
It's very nice and if you're going to take cycling seriously it's a must! I just miss a trophy case and I guess some of the paying options could be available for the free mode. Also, why can't we share swimming with the same new features for sharing?
Now my Polar HRM is compatible I can get decent heart rate info on my ride. This is good. There's also been a lot of work on the battery drain and integration with other apps, which is great. I use Ventoo, a Pebble smartwatch app, to record rides and it syncs with Strava very easily. I love Strava, but I still think Premium is very overpriced though.
I have been using the app with my moto 360 sport for about a month. Seems like a fantastic app! Sometimes I will run with both my phone and GPS watch to see the difference in GPS tracking, one thing I would love for the app to do is sync the same run between the phone and the watch. If I start a mapped out run on my phone it will not start the run on my watch, it's a completely different run. Is there a way you guys can update this??!
Great social element and competitive to boot. The app functions very well as a tracker and can work with sensors if needed, negating the need for watches and/or head units. Love this app, as I am kept motivated by it and it's data logging capabilities as a premium member
It's nice to store workouts, but is far from be the replacement of bike computers. It lacks lot of features, like BT sensors integrations. Speed is available only in the premium version, paid monthly. It's better to use one of the other nice bike apps available in the market and synch its data to Strava. It is a nice workout repository, but have no other use for me.
