Won't play streams for more than a few minutes App is relatively simple and easy to use, which is nice. However, any purpose is lost since it inevitably returns a "broken pipe" error somewhere between 30 seconds to 3 or 4 minutes after loading a stream.
I really want to love this... I'm so tired of random stops. Sometimes it will play for hours at a time, sometimes it will randomly stop after 5 minutes and I have to keep restarting! If this was fixed, I'd probably purchase this, but not until the issue is fixed! UPDATE: Ever since I started using this on an Android 2.3 device, it's EVEN WORSE. Nothing plays. I've uninstalled it at this point because it's totally worthless... I use AOR Radio now!
Updates for New OS's I was an avid user of this app when I was using Gingerbread, does not work on my (Toro) Galaxy Nexus at all with ICS or JellyBean. Come On Devs, lets update this bad boy!!!!
Broken app, Not working Does not let me add new streams or access the list of public radio stations since downloading the latest update for my Evo 4G.
Sucks battery dry at a stunning rate This would be a great app ... if it didn't suck every bit of juice from my Galaxy S battery in less than two hours. A shame, really. I used to run StreamTuner on my Nokia N800, and loved it, but there's no version for Android. When I found StreamFurious, I had high hopes. Well, it's not StreamTuner by any stretch (no directory, small number of sites), but it would serve me well if it didn't kill my phone. If I have to stay plugged in, I might as well use my laptop.
Short and simple Perfect with no flaws whatsoever . Supports 3rd party links, URLs, and shoutcast icecast. If only it had lockscreen app and such enhanced UI. But that's just asking too much. I like it small and easy.
- Fullscreen on large devices like the Samsung Galaxy Tab
