The best tracking app ever! I've tried a number of sport tracking apps & none was as good as this one! So far no errors which i kept experiencing with other apps when switch to camera or making a phone call or simply pausing an app etc. This Sports Tracker is the most accurate and advanced in a free version among all I've tried. Thanks a lot!!!
No forcible login, easy interface I've tried Endmondo Pro, Runtastic Pro and a few others. This app is by far the least nosy/intrusive and the best use interface.
Simple, reliable, useful I have been using it for about a year and a half while paddling my kayak. Lately I looked at the alternatives. I find it to be the most straightforward to use, with not too much information, but all you need. Out of screen lock operating is important especially when you are in rough conditions at sea. The free version has all the important elements. Great app!
Great app Love it. Easy read. Easy use. Great way of tracking workouts. Good sat maps. Denis C
I use Endomondo since about 4 years. I gave Sports Tracker a try because of its ability to use the barometer (more precise altitude readings) on my Sony Z3 Compact. The app has potential, however there are annoying weaknesses. 1) The process for calibrating the barometric altitude makes no sense at all; one needs to start a new workout, flip to a display where altitude is shown, notice the value, exit the workout, enter into the app settings, and enter an altitude correction which is the difference between the actual altitude and the noticed value; why not enter the actual altitude directly into the workout, or press a button to read the initial altitude from the phone's GPS? Ideally, there would be an option to automatically calibrate the altitude via the GPS at the start of the workout, and fine tune it if required via +/- buttons. 2) The scale of the altitude graph starts at zero; if you start a steep hike in the mountains, say at 2000m, the graph looks like a flat line; the scale needs to be dynamic and show a range between the minimum and maximum altitudes. 3) Ascent/Descent stats are wrong; they show large differences for workouts with start and finish at the same location.
Best sports tracking app available!! Track the sport you like - for me its eunning, can easily translate between metric and imperial; tell you speed, best laps, distance, maps your route on google maps so you can aee where youve gone, VERY accurate (i tested it independently and it was maxium 2% off!! Never have to worry about using them other rubbish track apps again - this has it all! Definitely recommend for people of all experience levels but is so simple to use even complete novices can use!Never normally rate apps so shows how good it is
