Loving this I have used Windguru for years as a full subscriber, but their latest app is not that good. But this seems to have everything I want, i.e. an instant view of my favourite three spots so I can see whats potentially the best spot to go to. Very accurate forecasts here actually better than weather pro. Always very accurate on superforecast. The report tab is very useful before I trek 120miles to a spot. Love this app
Forecast and superforecast different I really enjoy wind finder but my super forecast often says something completely different than the normal forecast. It seem like the superforecast is not up to date sometimes even though it should be even more precise than the normal forecast so right now find finder pro is absolutely unnecessary because it just makes it all more confusing.
NEAR A NUCLEAR PLANT? . Live near or downwind of a potential critical incident, including nuclear power, chemical plants and other nasty sites? Used as a predictive tool in your survival cache, WindFinder Pro allows you to create a circle of prevailing wind locations around you. Predicted winds and weather forecasts are stored in cache on your device so that if the grid goes down you still have a prediction of what may be coming your way to help protect those who God placed in your stewardship. GO OLIVER!☺
Very good Great to check the wind and fly my radio controlled planes. A "dark theme" or black background would b nice. Good predictions
Great! but... ...would be even better if user can setup alerts on wind forecasts or report for saved spots to show notifications... I am also missing statistic data on spots by months in a year as available in webpage...
Ok but...... The app is OK except for 1 major shortcoming. It looks like there are a lot preset locations built into the app. If you're looking for a particular location for wind information and it's not one of them, it will only give info on locations close to you. This is a major shortcoming. Why can't this App use GPS, locate your present location and provide wind information for present location? NOAA does it and it's free.
