Review from Jason Creek
Great game Amazing game a must buy on tablet. I full game for the price listed.
Great Graphics, Great Gameplay tl: dr - This game rocks. Get it. The gameplay is non-linear in that you have a game map that you need to keep watching and flip your spacecraft to go and hunt down the enemies that appear. This is a new concept to me, and it is pretty awesome. Graphics are very solid. Gameplay is great; the on-screen controls are very user-friendly, and I don't feel the need to immediately create a USB/BT Joystick Center touch mapping for the game. Moga support = perfect.
One of the best shooters period. This is one of the best side shooting games on android. It has a twist that you attack enemies from both sides instead of going foreword like in other side shooters. The music, graphics and gameplay is solid. A game like this should be on a PSP or 3DS but lucky for us its on android. That is how good the quality is. If your a fan of games like R-type you will love this. It works perfect with my blue tooth controller and the customer support is great should you have issues. This is an awesome game and high quality.
Jaw dropping Awsome... Worthy to be placed next to Gradius, Thunder Force, and all other AAA shmups. If you find something to complain about , you have issues. Touch screen controls are spot on and prove games like this can be pulled of with out a control pad. Music is Amazing. SOUNDS like Amiga500 music on steroids. The thought that these guys working on their next game is glorious news!!! Can't wait!!
Felt very old school I know I'm repeating what everyone else had said, but it's nice to play a game that's no grindfest and a homage to shooters of old such as Defender. While the controls felt loose they were still responsive and the game nearly matches the Steam version graphically. A great game that I bought twice! My only request to the devs is a loveletter to either Battle Squadron or Thunder Force 4! :)
Refreshing change from the norm.. I've been playing computer games since the early 80's. Every so often, a game comes along from nowhere and shakes the industry. This is one of them IMHO! Its easy to get into (no long video cut scenes to endure), controls are intuitive and gameplay is smooth and satisfying. The musical score is one of the best I've heard in recent years. Nostalgically, its a mix of some of the great classic scrolling arcade shooters like Defender, Vanguard and R-Type. Well done and thank you devs!
Good side-scroller The joystick setting "mobile" should be default. And there's a crash bug still to be fixed. But overall it's a great game. I love a good side-scroller. The default joystick setting makes it hard to hover in one place, and seems twitchy. The "mobile" setting fixes this. The [skip] dialog button is very small. It seems like this was only playtested on a tablet, not phones. I only nit-pick because I'm a developer too. These minor issues don't get in the way of it being a very enjoyable game.
- Fixed: ships were all black on some android devices
- Added MOGA support ! (www.MOGAanywhere.com)
- Added new game option: GAME MODE (normal/turbo)
If you enable TURBO mode, the game will play at the same speed of the PC/Mac version. Only for pro gamers and/or gamers with MOGA controllers :) 25% more speed, 100% more fun!
- Fixed a bug in the last level that could cause a crash
- Better memory management and a new crash reporter
