Overall this is a fantastic app! The thing that's preventing me from giving a 5 🌟 rating is that it won't allow me to save anything into my lists Anymore. I used to be able to save any page i want into any list i wanted. The button is still there but nothing happens when i click it. If y'all could fix that forme, it'd be huge. I'll change my rating once y'all do thank you
I've been a user for years. Every time theres an "update" this app gets worse. Get it together stumbleupon. *2017 update* finally decided to give stumbleupon a chance again. It is allot better now but is still lacking many features the original app had. My two main complaints are 1. the removal of the "open in browser" option. And 2. The "we know what you want more than you do" mentality of the developers. Not every user wants to be "locked in" to an app.
There's so many times I've attempted finding useful and interesting websites just by looking through Google...nothing even came close to the pages StumbleUpon has provided for me. It's the best app of it's kind, I'll never need another. My favorite feature is the ability it gives it's users to save the pages to look back on at a later date.
The app experience was not good for Android Nougat. Whenever I open a link of stumble upon through a third party application, say WhatsApp, it doesn't redirect to the installed application directly. Instead, it opens a web page, where I get the option of "Get App" and "Stumble". Either of the option don't redirect me to the correct link. I am not able to open any link of stumble upon's articles in one go in the app. It is a good app only if operated or browsed as a standalone.
Love it--you can choose the catagories that you're interested in. Love surfing with Stumbleupon!!! Don't like the way it works on my phone. Too complicated! Doesn't explain what the icons on bottom do, nor any other icon for that matter! Wish the mobil app worked the same as the pc app did! Very differt!!!
I am struggling to see the point of this app? It seems to be just a pimped web browser, with an awkward interface and slow loading times. The only thing above and beyond a browser is the ability to create lists of things you like and share them with the world. However, I can see this would be a gold mine for personal data collection and targeted advertising.... Yay?
Thanks for all of the great reviews and helpful feedback. We've fixed more bugs due to your diligent reports. Happy Stumbling!
