I started using Substack primarily for a subscription to guided meditations and self-hypnosis, but the app crashes often, which is not only a bother but it breaks the whole setting of the exercise when I have restart the app as I'm dropping into or in a deep relaxed state. It could be more intuitive, and it would be helpful if tabs were added for different multi media, i.e., videos, audio, and podcasts, instead of having to search through heaps of postings of various things.

Great outlet, the app could use some functionality improvements. The bookmarking feature is a work in progress - often stories will be listed as some percentage despite having been finished. As well, it is easy to lose a suggested article partway through reading it. If you don't have it subscribed or saved you're never sure whether it will be accessible after you've closes the app.

As a company, and idea, I absolutely love substack. But as an app, it is abysmal. Navigating the comments section is impossible, the threads are ordered in ways that make it difficult to follow. The app itself is hard to navigate and I never know how to find the article I received a push notification for. My inbox has become so overloaded, as every post or thread lands in your inbox. I need to dial back my subs to at most 5 to keep up to date on them. I receive probably 40 push notifications/day
