Haven't really explored much yet but want to give some feedback. The quantity of emails this app generates is much too high for me. It desperately needs an option to disable the emails from subscribed publications without unsubscribing altogether. I just want push notifications and to read from the app's feed. Signed up to a dozen things to take a look and my email blew up with 36+ mails in less than a minute and a few still randomly popping up every few mins... Even unsubscribing sends a mail..

I love Substack but they have to develop a better reading experience. One of the most frustrating things about this app is how it constantly reset itself and bring the reader back to the home screen, making him lose the post they were reading. The only way through this is to save the article so it's easy to find again. The search in itself is useless, proposing "featured articles" instead of the last articles read. Add to this the impossibility to categories saved article, and many more...

Updated 4/21/24. Continues w/ no fix. Wont transition from webpage to app anymore. Takes me to the play store download for the app instead of opening the existing app. Once its opened from playstore, it doesnt open the original post article. Failure to continue the waterfall effect. Also, in app "search" index for posts is useless.
