Unable to login and no registration I bought this for the internet monitoring feature. Unfortunately, their web feature was most likely developed in a day or 2. No registration, no "Forgot your password?" link. Nothing. Very poor. I'll be returning the entire product.
Limited but functional We have been using this monitor for about 2 years. We have not experienced the issues discussed below. Anytime we got the camera offline message it was usually simple troubleshooting issues. Such as the receiver needed to be reset, the power bar accidentally got switched off, or the connection between something somewhere got loose. Never had any sign on trouble. That said it is a simple app. You can't let the sound play in the background and use your phones other apps. So I usually turn my laptop on.
I can't sign in more than half the time. Keeps saying camera offline. And it's more of a check-in monitor since it times out. But I got it on sale, and I can see why. You get what you pay for. I got it mostly just to see my baby while I'm at work. So it serves that purpose, when I can sign in. But you can't rely on this alone for a monitor.
No options It opens to a screen that says enter a user name & password I did that it says it's invalid Ok no options or selections or instructions on how make it valid. Do I have to create an account somewhere else then enter the info? Or with the other Summer app do I even need this one? Looks like to operate within the home I need one app & outside the home I need this one. But the other one says I need an upgrade to the app but doesn't tell Me how to obtain it. Definitely confused. Fix this APP! I haven't been able to connect for 2 days now. I get a message swaying "maximum amount of user logged in. Try back later." The thing is.... no one is logged in! Try back later? It's been two days! This is worthless without the internet capabilities. It's why we got it. I called customer service got a nice guy who took my # and said he'd call me back before end of business day with an answer about the problem.....still waiting
