SwannEye These cameras are awesome. Motion detect send me emails when someone or thing moves in front of camera. Had a Samsung s3 phone app worked great. Now I have a note 4 and every time I close app I lose all my data. Hope they find a fix to save camera ip,password on note 4.
Bad implementation Good idea but badly implemented. Randomly stops working and when it does it resets your camera information. Having to put that information in every time it stops is very annoying. Also no ability to save or take a picture from software. The app displayed on box is not the app you get in the appstore.
Its okay App keeps deleting my saved cameras as well as force closing. Setup is a pain and the manual doesn't help at all. Contacted Tech Support and they were able to remotely setup the camera... The jury is still out on this one...
Absolute nightmare. The setup on this is horrifying. I have been doing networking for years and it took all day. Easy setup if you run it on local network but there is no explanation. Manual is more like. A dictionary when it comes to setting up dynamic DNS. Closest I've come to remote connection is by useing my own ip address instead of the free DNS services. Good luck!
Unreliable, poor interface, dissapointing. This looks like it took less than a day to develop, and an hour of testing. Crashes more often than not, no features, poor ui. Ive ended up just using my browser. Very dissapointing for an official app!
Utterly useless This is an embarrassingly poor piece of software as many have reported before me. While the camera is an excellent value, without a useful interface I will have to return it. The software jams, forgets the camera address even after successfully saving it. Swann really needs to look at DLINKS' product to see just how easy and reliable it could be. I guarantee Swann will lose many sales over this oversight.
