Update May 25: able to log in now and the look and feel of the menus are fantastic. Great update :) haven't had to submit a claim yet so don't know how that functions but overall good. And thank you very much for the reply. _(Unable to login. Says I need to enter my ID and password as of they were left blank. They are definitely filled in. I uninstalled the app and tried again after restarting phone same thing. Able to access from website so my ID and pw works. Samsung galaxy s4)_
The app description makes a false statement that claims can be submitted using this app. However, there is no option for submitting claims. I visited the sunlife app website which shows a photo with a "submit a claim" option. This option is not available on this app as of the time of this review. This isn't the first time sunlife has lied about their services. I wonder if they are moving backwards rather than forward.
Received my Investment Statement and saw the note about the mobile app. Went to google play and installed it. When I press Register, the app stops working and kicks me out. I have uninstalled it and downloaded it again but the same thing happens. Will give a higher rating if this can be rectified.
Constant outages and technical difficulties. App says some of my drug claims can't be submitted online then tells me to mail the claim in, but I called in to sunlife for an explanation and had a rep give me a workaround using the app so apparently submitting the claim online is actually fine? Suprisingly bad app from such a large company.
Scrolling menus are not obvious... I thought I only had the option for dental... And only bridges from that selection. Open and closed the app 3 times before swiping the menu by accident and seeing it scroll.... Also too much verbiage on the T&C acceptance pages
Was great before the update, but now I can't submit any claims. Hope there will be an update to fix this issue. **Even during E-claim hours, the receipt photo option is nowhere to be found which ultimately lead to the rejection of my claim without a valid photo of the receipt. Hope you guys can fix this issue as well!
