Baby signing is a fun activity to help you and your baby communicate before they can talk. Some babies can sign by 6 months, but most begin to sign, if used consistently, between 8-10 months.

Baby signs are borrowed from the Sign Language of your country, in Australia this is Australian Sign Language (Auslan). Using these signs alongside spoken words help your child understand words easier and lets them use sign to communicate before they can speak. Other benefits found with baby signing are bonding, emotional regulation, better social behaviour and improved literacy.
