It's a very useful app, simple to follow. In fact it's a staple of life these days. Which is why when it and online banking are so very often (2-4x monthly) unavailable it can easily hinder ones finances. Myself I like to keep close tabs on my account and think it necessary to do so; feeling panic at times I cannot. Once a month is reasonable or with prior warning acceptable
Used to be fine until they updated it, now I can't deposit checks anymore. When I take a picture of the front of my check, it stops there, it doesnt give me an option to take a picture of the back of the check and finalize the deposit. They say it's an issue with 4.4.2, and to update to fix it, but my phone tells me that is the most up to date firmware for me.
I like the banking features but if you have any Suntrust credit card the design of the app does not let you know a payment is due. The main screen only lists balance/transactions. That is very poor design.
Vomit. Redesign epic fail. Sad that PC interface now superior to app. Can't even view all billers and payments in one place. Transfer button somehow more important than Bill pay, which is hidden in that stupid three bar menu?
I like the app when I can actually use it. But for the last two week every time I try to check my account balance it says "mobile banking is currently unavailable". Not very useful if every time I try to used it I can't. If it's always going to be unavailable then it's honestly a waste of app space and I'm probably going to have to delete. What's going on Suntrust?
Since updated on 2/23/17, I can never get the app to work. I have done ALL the troubleshooting. My advise if you haven't already DO NOT do the update to this app that came out 2/23/17. It's useless when you really need to verify transactions during working hours 6am and beyond.
