Game launches fine. Excellent title. A brilliantly crafted runner that doesn't automatically assume you're an idiot with no hope in life. I'd love for you guys to apply yourselves to a real effort though. Runners are light mobile thinking games. I shiver at what you could do with player controlled gameplay and a story. Platformer RPG ala Metroid perhaps?
It was fun...for the first few hours. Don't get me wrong, this game had really great visuals and soundtrack. I do like how the puzzles are randomly mixed every time to keep things interesting. But that's all there is to it. No learning curves for the bosses whatsoever so it takes forever to figure out how to beat one. Once you do, you pretty much die right after due to new puzzles and then you have to start ALL over again. It's very tedious. There's no hint of a story to keep you motivated to keep playing, and the customized items in the store are so expensive they're not worth playing for what could be weeks to earn enough points to get the item I want. (And I wouldn't pay a dollar PER item just to get them either.) Sometimes the random generation of puzzles makes the game unnecessarily difficult (ex. focusing on the moving bomb so I don't get the chance to see the sequence of the puzzle behind it). It's a shame that for an adventure game with all this pretty art, there's no hint of a story as to why you're even there. It's at least a good time killer in between breaks for classes, though. But unfortunately it lags and crashes, and I'm playing on a brand new Galaxy Note 4.
Great game! The visuals are amazing and the puzzles are easy enough that it's fun. ^^ The only two complaints I have is the fact that the upgrades cost so much, and if you would be able to use checkpoints so we don't have to beat the Hive Mind fifty times all over again. Thank you. ^^
This game was a lot of fun with interesting graphics and concept. The only things that could make it better is some story and meaningful progression of levels. Possibly a level up system not based on buying new characters would make me want to invest more time into it.
I LOVE the game Hyper Light Drifter and you get a similar vibe to it on this game. The controls are good easy and smooth. My only complaint is you have to kill the same bosses over and over in order to get to new bosses.
I absolutely love this game! Simple and smooth controls combine with stunning graphics to create a stellar, elegant, and near flawless game. The only issue I have with it is that the in-game items such as cloaks, projectiles, and followers are merely cosmetic. There is no way to upgrade your character, which would truly elevate this game to perfection. I have played many a round, but struggle every now and then because I simply don't survive. If you can implement upgrades in some way, shape, or form, I would immediately change my rating to five stars. As it is, I wish I could give it 4.5 stars, considering that this is just one issue. Highly recommend this amazing creation to anyone!
