With Superwhisper, you write up to 5x faster using your voice. Accurate transcription, clean punctuation, and AI formatting.

HOW IT WORKS
Tap the floating bubble to start recording and tap it again to finish, or hold it while you talk and release. Your words come out as polished text in the app you're using, without replacing your existing keyboard.

- Messages in ChatGPT, Slack, WhatsApp, Gmail, Notes, and other apps.
- Long-form writing that starts as a five-minute ramble.

ACCESSIBILITY
If typing is difficult or painful, for example because of a motor impairment, tremor, or RSI, Superwhisper lets you write in any app by voice alone. Tap the bubble, speak, and your words appear in the field, with no keyboard needed.

ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE DISCLOSURE

Superwhisper uses Android's AccessibilityService API to provide hands-free text entry by voice in other apps.

The accessibility service is used to:
- Identify the active app and focused text field so your dictated text is inserted in the right place.
- Detect keyboard visibility and text field focus to show or hide the floating dictation button.
- Read existing text in the focused field to preserve it and add appropriate spacing when inserting your dictation.
- Identify password and PIN fields so Superwhisper can hide the dictation button and prevent insertion into those fields.

Nothing read through accessibility access leaves your device. You choose whether to enable the accessibility service, and you can turn it off at any time in Android settings and keep recording within Superwhisper.

Excellent accurate transcription that's nearly instantaneous. Great initial release. Wish there was customization of AI post-processing modes or a fully offline privacy focused transcription option.
