About this app

SurSadhak is the complete Indian classical music practice companion. Play realistic Tabla, Tanpura, Harmonium, Sur Peti, Swar Mandal, and Manjira — all in one app. Practice 100+ raags, compose multi-section songs, scan Bhatkhande notation with AI, and record studio-quality mixes.

🎹 HARMONIUM
Play a 36-key keyboard spanning 3 octaves with authentic sound. Select from 100+ raags and practice interactively — auto-play aaroh, avroh, pakad, and alaap with note-by-note visual guidance. Enable raag-guided key highlighting and play smooth meend glides between notes.

🎵 RAAG PRACTICE
Explore 100+ raags with complete definitions: aaroh (ascending scale), avroh (descending scale), pakad (signature phrase), and alaap (exposition). Follow along with Bhatkhande swar notation and a synchronized Tanpura drone.

📷 AI NOTATION SCANNING
Point your camera at any Bhatkhande notation sheet and let AI extract the notes automatically. Recognizes Devanagari swar notation, komal/teevra accents, octave markers, sustain marks, and lyrics — all taal-aware for beat-aligned output.

🎼 SONG COMPOSITION
Build multi-section songs with independent instrument control per section. Choose Tabla, Tanpura, Sur Peti, Swar Mandal, or Manjira for each section. Add custom audio tracks, Bhatkhande notation, and lyrics. Share your compositions with the SurSadhak community.

This is a great & pretty app, but I can only give two stars, because it has a huge flaw that makes it almost useless, at least for me (and anyone who likes to adjust the speed while playing). When you change the tabla's bpm's the beat starts over from 1, no matter where you're at in the current beat, so unless you hit the key exactly at the end of the beat your rhythm will be off. If the new speed could be applied while keeping the beat going (or when the next beat starts) that would fix it. Thx

This app is perfect for practicing Indian classical music. The tanpura has a variety of notes which helps to practice efficiently. But the harmonium keys are not much better, I think there should be a change in the keys of harmonium.
