Works just fine. Does what it's supposed to and all without requiring a ridiculous number of permissions. If only more apps were like this.
Mike the best
Nice and simple app, nothing more. No advertising, or notification sounds just your headphones status.
Pat M
Great! Simple and does the job. Useful on my Nexus 5 as there's no headphones "plugged in" icon.
Beach Dix
Does one thing, but does it perfectly. All I wanted was an indicator that my headphones were plugged in because my headphones are a little sketchy. All this app does is show when the headphones are plugged in. Perfect.

NFC Easy Connect
The NFC Easy Connect app allows your smartphone to connect easily with NFC-compatible Sony devices (speakers, headphones, etc.).
Just touch your smartphone to the N mark on an NFC-compatible Sony device to register (pair) the devices and connect them through Bluetooth (one-touch connection).
For details on smartphones on which the NFC Easy Connect app needs to be installed, check “Compatible smartphones” below.
You do not need to install the NFC Easy Connect app if you are using an NFC-compatible smartphone with Android OS 4.1 or later installed.

You do not need to install the NFC Easy Connect app if you are using an NFC-compatible smartphone with Android OS 4.1 or later installed.
- Compatible smartphones
NFC-compatible smartphones with Android 2.3.3 or later (prior to Android 4.1) installed
Some smartphones may already have an app installed with similar functions. In this case, the NFC Easy Connect app is not needed.
See the manual of your smartphone for details.
See the following website for details on NFC-compatible Sony devices.
http://rd1.sony.net/lifestyle/
- Making a one-touch connection with your smartphone
1. Unlock the screen.
2. Touch the NFC detection area of your smartphone that has this app installed to the N mark on an NFC-compatible Sony device.
3. The smartphone vibrates when a connection to the NFC-compatible Sony device is established.
(You do not need to activate the NFC Easy Connect app.)
- Main functions
1. Simple device registration (pairing) and connection by one touch. (NFC Bluetooth Handover)
Touching your smartphone to an NFC-compatible Sony device turns the power of the device on and establishes a Bluetooth connection at the same time.
Even when connecting to an NFC-compatible Sony device for the first time, both device registration and Bluetooth connection can be completed with this one-touch operation.
2. Simple disconnection by one touch.
To disconnect the connection, simply touch the smartphone to the NFC-compatible Sony device.
3. Simple switching of connected devices by one touch.
If you have multiple NFC-compatible Sony devices, just touch the smartphone to a different device to disconnect from the current device and connect to the new one.
For example, if your smartphone is connected with NFC-compatible headphones through a Bluetooth connection and you want to connect to an NFC-compatible speaker instead, just touch the smartphone to the speaker to establish a Bluetooth connection to the speaker.
4. Operation at your fingertips
You can turn the Bluetooth function on and off, and connect or disconnect easily using the app screen.
- Check the following if a connection cannot be established.
1.Make sure the NFC Easy Connect app is activated or the NFC function of your smartphone is turned on.
2.Make sure the screen of your smartphone is unlocked.
3.Depending on the smartphone you are using, it may not be possible to make a one-touch connection while the smartphone is being charged. Finish charging first, then perform the one-touch operation.
4.If the smartphone is in a case, the listening device may not react to one-touch; remove the smartphone from the case first.

HTC Headset Fix
This app fixes the problem with some HTC phones where a double click on the headset will redial the last contact instead of skipping to the next track in the music player. It solves this by automatically inserting a dummy contact into the top of the call log.
NOTE: The HTC music app may not recognize the headset double click so you will need to use another music player, like Google Play Music, in addition to this app.
Please contact support@onmyway.to with any problems or suggestions!

Branch of https://code.google.com/p/toggleheadset2/ for personal use, with bug fixes...
Removed call detection features and on-boot settings. Supports both headphones and headsets. Playing music to bluetooth when headphone/headset plugged in is now possible.
This app just tells Android to pretend as if the headphone is not plugged in even though it is.
Icon with Android asset studio + Tango icon theme + GIMP
Known quirks:
If headphone/headset is plugged in with bluetooth A2DP attachment, the volume control might be either bluetooth media or the ordinary media audiostream. That's Android getting confused about where the music is actually being played, because this app pulls the rug from underneath it.
If you have a HTC device with a self-toggling headphone jack, the widget will be updating itself too much.
The way this app works results in conditional unpredictable behavior, particularly with phone calls. Hence, this app is alpha and will stay that way.
To do:
Should probably merge this into another app someday, but for now it's useful for various things...
HDMI not tested, don't have the equipment
Currently ugly

A review indicates that this allows the use of the integrated speakers with 1seg (ワンセグ) on the KDDI HTC J One.
Headset Button Dialer
DevDan
1
For wired headsets only!
This app enables you make calls with the button of your wired headset. This is an essential feature when driving a car. Currently, you can choose to
- redial the last dialed number
- dial any number you enter or choose from the address book
- start the android voice dialer (if it is installed)
This app truly repairs the functionality of your headset button. It runs as a service in background, which is even restarted when you restart your phone. You can enable or disable the service at any time.
You are still able to control your music player!
- Normal click: Control your music player as usual
- Double click: Next song
- Long click: Dial number
If you have questions or want to suggest a new feature, please contact me via email.
If you installed the trial version, please uninstall it before installing the full version
Locale Headphone Button Plugin
Ryan B
1
A Locale plugin that simulates pressing a headphone or headset button. Available buttons are the "hook" ie single headset button, Play/Pause, Play, Pause, Next, Previous, Fast Forward, Rewind, Stop. Also optionally checks whether anything is currently playing.
This is useful because headphone buttons automatically use the current "preferred" media player on your device, which is usually the most recently used one, instead of any one specific player.
I use this to restart whatever was playing last when I plug in my headphones. It's nice that Android automatically pauses when they're unplugged, but it's annoying to have to unlock the screen, navigate through the player app, and press play again. Add a Locale situation with headphones connected as the condition and this plugin with "Play/Pause" as the setting, and voila, your music or podcast automatically restarts when you plug your headphones back in!
Warning: some media player apps don't handle headphone buttons consistently, or even at all, even built-in apps. If this plugin doesn't work with a specific app, check that it supports the headphone button you've selected, and/or try other buttons.

Update - based on multiple reports it appears there may be a problem with Android Jelly Bean. See http://code.google.com/p/toggleheadset2/issues/detail?id=14 for more details. You may want to try SoundAbout app instead.
This is an open source project originally intended for use with the now legacy Android 1.6 (donut) release and 3.5mm headphone jack HTC multi adapters on the G1 due to android issue 2534. It was originally based on an abandoned project at code.google.com called toggleheadset.
Since initial release, lots of people have downloaded and used this application to fix hardware problems with their phones - specifically cases where the headphones connector detection doesn't work and your audio doesn't automatically switch to the correct output automatically. This has been a surprisingly common occurrence.
To install you need to place on your homescreen to use it by holding your finger down on the homescreen, selecting widgets and selecting togglheadset2. See http://code.google.com/p/toggleheadset2/wiki/InstallAndUse
Thanks to Adam King for changes to support 2.1+

WordClock is an original widget clock for your android launcher. Its main feature is the format, you can see the time in a sentence.
Min. Android version 1.6.
Now WordClock has 4x4, 3x3 and 2x2 sizes all in the same app.
If the 2x2 sized widget doesn't look good (the words crash) is because your phone has a low resolution for that size. Try to resize the widget.
