Ambit3 the (un)connected family! Review Update: sync now sometimes works after turning on and off BT. Suunto just released a 5min video showing how to fix the sync problem on Android. Gives me hope that they are continuing to work on a good solution. However, unpair should never be a fix for this problem. If things continue to improve I'll give the app more stars. Old review: Newest OS on phone, Newest firmware on watch. Never syncs. For a $500 watch and a $500 phone I really expected better.
Lack of information I bought an ambit3 peak a month ago and was disappointed to discover some major differences between suunto's and polar's app. One feature that is very important to a runner is laps info and the only way to see it is through the watch. Also, would be very happy to see my daily activity stats history. Please add these features.
Not a complete solution On my motorola xplay the sync works most of the time, but not without issues and it's slow. Otherwise the app is on an very basic level and most activity trackers would probably be a better choice. Unless you're an owner of suunto hardware.
Sync fail I have galaxy @5. Since last 2 updates it doesn't sync. Only via USB cable on Computer. Frustrating cause it worked fine before. Please restore older version wich worked. Don't sell the watch with the phrase that it syncs with mobile app. Its against the law to advertise certain uses and it doesn't work.
Needs to be improved Recently I bought the Ambit 3 and started having to sync to Movescount. A few dissappointing issues. 1. The syncing takes forever and sometimes it works, other times not. I've ever waited for 10mins thereabout for the watch and the app to connect and sync but with no update of my run, then having to wait to resync again. 2. The information provided are very basic. As a runner, I'm interested to see my pace per km. The graphs don't tell me specifics. Need to improve please.
Seriously awful app! Used to sync my ambit 3 peak no issue. Now it won't sync at all! I've trief reinstalling the app and repairing the watch. All to no avail. I hope this gets fixed soon bc I'll be returning my watch if I can't sync it. Never had this issue with Garmin.

If you have connection problems with Suunto devices after upgrading please turn Bluetooth off and on. Make sure you are running the latest firmware on your Suunto device.
