Sync system needs serious work While the app does let you see the stats for your workouts, this only applies if you can actually get it to sync. Which 9 times out of 10 you can't. I've repeatedly watched the sync progress bar hit 90%, then reset back to zero. Eventually it just says the sync won't happen. I love the watch and the other Suunto products but they need to put serious work into the app.
Ambit3 the (un)connected family! Review Update: sync now sometimes works after turning on and off BT. Suunto just released a 5min video showing how to fix the sync problem on Android. Gives me hope that they are continuing to work on a good solution. However, unpair should never be a fix for this problem. If things continue to improve I'll give the app more stars. Old review: Newest OS on phone, Newest firmware on watch. Never syncs. For a $500 watch and a $500 phone I really expected better.
Great app. Dont have any issues This app is great. It syncs with the watch no problems and has some great features. There are reviews which complain about lack of functionality but the app provides a good overview of moves. When I want more details I use the website. This is the normal way for feature rich content to be viewed. Perhaps allowing configuration of the app to show what interests the user would be a good addition but I have no complaints with current app. I love the movie feature.
Lack of information I bought an ambit3 peak a month ago and was disappointed to discover some major differences between suunto's and polar's app. One feature that is very important to a runner is laps info and the only way to see it is through the watch. Also, would be very happy to see my daily activity stats history. Please add these features.
Good information I like this app, it provides some good data to see after my training. It is a pity not all of the info from the internet page is on this app, and you can not change the settings. Overall I like how seeing my results makes me want to train more and get better.
Not a complete solution On my motorola xplay the sync works most of the time, but not without issues and it's slow. Otherwise the app is on an very basic level and most activity trackers would probably be a better choice. Unless you're an owner of suunto hardware.

If you have connection problems with Suunto devices after upgrading please turn Bluetooth off and on. Make sure you are running the latest firmware on your Suunto device.
