Synchronization works well with my Xperia Z2 running Android 5.1.1 official release from Sony. Upgraded to 5 stars since notifications are implemented. I do not use notifications, they became a bit too much. Would have been nice to filter and be able to acknowledge them on the watch. If you have synchronization problems, disable and enable Bluetooth briefly.
This app is just killing it all. Never syncs, or can sync once out of 10 attempts. No notifications from the phone are shown ever. I'm even ok that syncing workouts takes time, but the app should just work, not like this one. Phone is Xiaomi Mi5S, watches Suunto Spartan Ultra.
My Ambit3 Peak is fantastic. But the Movescount app is horrible! The main reason I picked Suunto over Garmin was for the movie feature. Of course, that is broken. Suunto claims to be fixing it, but will that ever happen? And my watch has issues connecting to my phone. I have to unpair and re-pair every time I want to sync a hike or jog to my phone. Even when paired, it often says there are connection issues.
Dear Suunto team, I'm afraid that I cannot use all the functions of my watch because of the poor quality of your app. Notifications just don't work. I have to reinstall the app, then I get my notifications for a day, and then it all just stops. Sometimes the app cannot find the watch and recommends "moving.closer" to it when in fact they're side by side. I'm sure that the watch and the smartphone are both working fine, it's the app. I really don't like it when people use this argument but .. what did I pay (a considerable amount of money) for? I sincerely hope that your team is working on an update -- if not, it's just disrespectful to all Suunto customers.
Dear Suunto, you must be very pleased about the number of downloads this app is getting. However i am responsible for most of them as i have to uninstall and reinstall practically every week just to make it work! I love your watches (except the straps) but this app is seriously flawed, please sort it out!!
Cannot pair with the watch after upgrade this app. Tried restart both phone and watch, reinstall app. None of them helps. Watch still works fine and pair with HR belt without any problems. It proves the problem is with the app upgrade! Has the new app revision been tested prior to release?Can Suunto app engineer do something?
