The SVS app is the easiest way to unleash the full potential of your SVS 17-Ultra RIEvolution, 5000 Series R|Evolution, 3000 R|Evolution, 16-Ultra, 4000 Series, 3000 Series, 3000 Micro, 3000 In-Wall, 2000 Pro Series, and 1000 Pro Series subwoofers by allowing advanced DSP functionality and optimization based on your room, speakers and personal listening preferences.

The SVS app lets you do simple things like control volume and create custom presets that enable easy, one-touch tuning for music, movies, and other content. More advanced functionality of the SVS subwoofer app includes the ability to correct room anomalies and fine-tune low frequency output so you can enjoy the full depth, force, and nuance from the world’s finest subwoofers.

When used with your SVS subwoofer, the app takes the mystery out of subwoofer digital signal processing (DSP) by clearly explaining each feature and providing easy control from your mobile device. If you’re new to subwoofer DSP, the SVS app has a helpful tutorial that guides you through the different settings.

With a few simple adjustments, you can eliminate boomy spots, set crossover frequencies, and make other adjustments to get the deepest, tightest, and most accurate in-room response possible from your SVS subwoofer. You can make adjustments from the comfort of your favorite seat or even when the subwoofer is not in site.

It used to work. I really liked it. But now it can't connect and doesn't do anything. How long have I been cheated out of bass? It seems like I haven't touched it for many months and now I've just been playing some reruns and "where's the bass?" I just can't imagine what the problem is. I've fiddled with the parameters but it says "not in range". It's the same range as ever. 6 ft, I wish it worked. Can I return it? Swap for new one?

Not very intuitive, needs a lot of work. Is slow to connect to subwoofers, takes forever to load controls! The presets are very limited and are not user friendly to save or load. Is not intelligent enough to say that Bluetooth is not turned on. Rather shows incorrect, fake subwoofer information! Switching between devices is crazy slow too. Volume takes forever to load.

The app is pretty useful, especially since SVS went to all digital controls on in the back of their subs. One thing is odd. I have a two port sub model and either one or both can be sealed with SVS foam plugs. The app, however, only shows tuning for both ports sealed despite its tutorial showing choices for ports open, one sealed port and two sealed ports.

What’s new

This update unlocks the powerful new SVS Auto EQ feature. It is a no-cost included upgrade for every SVS 3000 R|Evolution, 5000 R|Evolution, and 17-Ultra R|Evolution subwoofer. The 3000 Micro R|Evolution will also receive this upgrade soon.

Note that this update only applies to R|Evolution Series subwoofers.
