Tanpura Droid is the software version of a Tanpura, this sitar-like instrument used in Indian classical music to play a drone sound throughout a musical performance. Includes real sounds. Ratings and reviews

The app was working well until recently. In the last week or 10 days, I have noticed that it stops working or playing in the background if you are not on it. Meaning, if the tanpura is playing and I open a different app, the tanpura then stops playing. I use the tanpura in conjunction with another app for table in order to practice my singing. This is is extremely inconvenient as I now have to use separate phones for each app. Please fix the issue!
