About this app

SWIFTSCALES was created by singers, for singers, and is the first app to simulate sitting at the piano with a vocal coach. Unlike other apps & audio lessons, SWIFTSCALES moves with you, as high or low, fast or slow as needed. You control every session in real time or passively, the only limits being the 88 keys of the piano and your imagination. No musical knowledge required! In fact, vocal coaches themselves can use SWIFTSCALES on the go to train and warm up students with exercises they already teach thanks to the app's endless flexibility and customization.

Whether beginner or master, student or teacher, SWIFTSCALES grants a lifetime of ever evolving vocal training. Singers, this is the app you've been waiting for!

Not what I expected - thought it would have a variety of built-in scales... but it misuses the term... what it calls scales are just simple vocalise patterns... all the prefab ones are based solely on note selections from the major scale. If you wanted to practice, let's say, Harmonic Minor you are out of luck short of using it's custom feature to build it yourself. Okay for what it does, which is not much.

Love the ability to customize. It would be nice if there was a way to set an uper limit on the exercises though. Currently you can set the starting note, but it just keeps going until you manually shut it off. It would make the routines much more convient to be able to set a range for each exercise. I love that you can make your own scales though, its very helpful!

Glad you like the customization options! Yes, I've been wanting to work that in without overcomplicating the interface (basically, allowing a user to still control the flow in real time and/or let it rise and fall completely automatically, like you are talking about), and think I have a way of doing it. Happy singing!

I wanted to share my experience with SwiftScales because I think it will help other singers who might approach it the way I did. I used the app consistently and at first I thought it was giving me a clear path forward. But without proper guidance, I ended up misunderstanding what the exercises were actually doing in my voice. SwiftScales is a tool, not a teacher. It doesn’t explain coordination, vocal architecture, or how to approach the exercises safely. If you're new to singing stay away.
