The app seemed great for the free trial so I bought the subscription, and it only has a 3 month or more option. Now it's acting crazy, I updated the app and maps and it's telling me I have reached my destination in the middle of the interstate, taking me off the interstate to make a u turn and get right back on the same interstate. So I canceled my 3 month subscription, no prorated/refund and can't use the paid version without turning my subscription back on. Money trap app!

I made the mistake of opening it the first time without Internet available which caused the app to crash. However it was an easy fix. I deleted the data in the app settings and restarted the app. NOW IT WORKS GREAT without Internet. The fix for my mistake worked very well, I've never been able to an app this easy. P.S. you still need Internet to add more states. Thank You for a great app.

For my particular location, the offline option from Sygic with downloadable maps is the way to go. While Google Maps has offline maps, it won’t go into offline mode even if you have the poorest cell coverage and you end up having to turn off mobile data. The downside to Sygic is the lack of currency even with monthly map updates. For example, newer restaurants and closed restraints aren’t reflected nearly as fast as they are in Google Maps. Overall though, the best offline alternative.
