This is a great app! I've been using it for a few years. I can choose which apps to lock, but the problems I'm having is that some apps that are locked, still open for a few seconds when you tap on it. They open long enough for the information on the app to be seen or read. Afterwards the lock screen does pop up. FYI, those few seconds do matter!

I installed and began using "Norton App Lock" around the Spring of 2022. I was pleased with the added layer of security it added to my phone. But a couple months before the switch to Daylight Saving Time in 2022, my phone began to do strange things. The app would randomly unlock different apps, and reset the clock to a similar day of the month in a different month and year. I have not experienced those issues since uninstalling the app.

The app appears to be easy to manipulate, like having a backdoor that allows an app of interest to give MiTM a peek first before the fingerprint prompt. In camera mode, the eye shows the subject first then the fingerprint access pops up after 1or2 seconds. Even switching from video to photo prompts a pop up! Very annoying. A recent update to Android 13 may have triggered this mass surveillance tactic. In addition, if that's not enough, a locked App opens without the lock at all.
