I trust Norton because they have been successfully "protecting" my digital devices for more than 20 years. Currently, while in Norton WiFi VPN mode on my Samsung mobile phone, my Verizon Visual Voicemail has issues. That is the only technical issue I have. I don't know if it is a Samsung, Verizon, or Norton issue or an integration issue. I still plan to stick with Norton going forward, for all my device protection needs. Thank you Norton.
When adding a device to an abbonnement it would be very useful if u could name the device from the device itself. since the auto names is based on model numbers and makes it heart to delete and control through Norton account device management. It could use a root scanner version so rooted phones can get their whole system checked for virus keyloggers and malware. Norton could be the first to make this leap and protect rooted devices which there are millions of users that could use.
So far so gods this application is doing more then I expected. It helps me preserve my battery life as well and that is really useful because sometimes my battery gets drained big time and it posses me right off. But now I just hope this application keeps my information secure and properly synchronized as well as take care of my phone and its settings. Back round applications are in the hundreds draining the battery.
This app is awesome! I just installed it and it found several "at risk" apps. I like that an explanation is included as to why Norton thinks an app is at risk and why it is safe bcuz users always want to know "why" about an issue and not just blindly trust an app without a reason just bcuz they think its a risk. We could be doing something or removing something that we really shouldn't have so that's a bonus the other apps don't have. I highly recommend this app. You'd be foolish no to give itva shot. Keep up the good, trustworthy work guys!
Why did you break the call blocker function? It worked fine until the last update! Please reinstate the ability to delete individual numbers! After you fix it, if you want to improve it, allow scheduled blocking of individual numbers. Thank you for your response. I'm not changing my review.
O that all Android apps would always include an "info" item in the base menu where the user could find out (a) who wrote the app, and (b) its basic purpose. A simple link to the author's website would do. Because, so often, months later, I have forgotten where I found it or why. And so many apps have such similar names (e.g., File Manager) -- the user shouldn't have to rummage around in Playstore to ascertain what is already installed.
