Review from Erhard Winzig
Wirkt seltsam unausgereift und instabil. Leider habe ich bisher noch keine bessere Alternative gefunden. Updates&Bugfixes sind eher selten.
Not usable if you have a lot of audio files on your NAS. Even on good WiFi, I have to wait few minutes before being able to see some audio files. Navigation is clearly impossible. On top of that, the app is unable to read some useful id3 tags : rating, comment, etc...
The app transcode every single flac to mp3 or wav as is unable to play that format directly, even if the player supports it. I use DSM from 4.2 and have seen no improvements on the app.
Library often doesn't load correctly. Keeps using data to reload everything, including thumbnails, instead of caching locally. Some music files cannot be played, unless downloaded manually. Sometimes even downloaded files won't play randomly. It's also impossible to shut down the app. Kill it in android if you have dev options, otherwise you have to use an app killer or restart your phone. Unusable app.
I like to listen to a whole album at a time, in order (old school). More frequently than not, the album will stop playing between songs and, thereafter, I have to "click" the next consecutive song from there on out. Not a particularly satisfying listening experience, not to mention the fact that I'd have to do it while driving. Similarly as often, the music will stop mid-song, move on to the next song, stop mid-song, etc., etc. Pretty bad. Actually, it sucks.
Good app, but would be better if you also update this app in Windows Store. It is outdated.
Good app but has a very annoying bug where you're downloaded music folder will randomly change from your SD card to your internal storage.
．Added support for "Add next to current" function to append the selected songs or playlists to currently played song, and replaced the original "Add and play it" option
．Minor bug fixes
An awesome Mp3 player for Android with mixer, bass booster & music EQ 🎧
