Alex Can't access to external SD card and download for Samsung S5. No resolution found on the web. Disappointing apps that serve as white elephant.
Can't play mp4 Used to be able to watch my mp4 videos, but not it just says can't play video.
setup worked just fine using Samsung S5. Moved to Nexus 5X and now phone cannot log in, and often when it fails, my phones wi-fi connection collapses as well... so yeah - seems like something needs to be addressed... looks like my 2.4ghz network fails while my 5ghz works. not happened on old phone... but not clearly Synology's issue either... maybe better error messages?
Liked it Built in media player and local file browser is very handy. Fully featured however the UI is sadly behind the standard of DS Download.
Too kludgy to achieve full potential The local file browser beats Android's own file manager hands down. Until I want to copy or download something to the SD card, that is. Vague (or simply incorrect?) instructions to grant access are of no help. Big downloads have gotten stuck in what seems to be an infinite waiting state after a resume, with a somewhat hidden message on permissions.
The caption bar should be able to hide It's annoying when watching photos, it should be hidden automatically after few seconds.
