It's a real 2-Way sync between Android device and Synology NAS. Reliable thanks to running in the notification area. Lots of options to fine tune syncing to everyones needs. Only complaint is about UI. The sign in screen keeps appearing on every app run. The app doesn't follow Android Material design.
It claims to be "up to date" even when I am making file changes. Just stops syncing. There's now a 'sync now' button which is helpful, but it continues just to stop syncing and I need to click 'resume', which basically means the auto syncing doesn't work properly.
The choice between up, down or two way sync is a big improvement. Problems start for me when the .cloudstation folder at the root of the internal sd becomes to large (if it gets above 256mb ((not counting log files)) the app won't open but if you delete these files a full resync is necessary. I think this app should have a better way of trimming these files. (i think they have made big progress in this however as the same sync task once created a few GB of data)(yes I'm syncing 2-3 TB's with an Android device)
Useles app. From Android 4.4 doesn't work properly with external SD card. You can choose only one specific directory on sdcard. Even then it is not syncing in two way. Only one way. Developers are doing nothing to fix this issue since a years.
Can't choose any location of my SD card. I know there is an limitation in Android >4.4, but other software is also able to write to any location nowadays. Hope you find a way to get this feature into this app. Thanks!
can't even get it to log in on my sony z2 - it tells me the details are wrong, despite me re-entering the correct details countless times. Synology does give the term 'ease of use' a whole new meaning - in a bad way
- Fixed an issue where accessing the folders in synchronization process on specific devices will cause the application to shut down unexpectedly.
