There is a lot love about moments. But it falls short in terms of reliability when it comes to syncing the photos. It is not resilient and not reliable. I often find myself uninstalling and reinstalling to get it to work again. Shame, I hope developers fix this so that it can be a great app. Moments is the reason I upgraded my Nas. Synology folks should think about it. It's mobile apps are generally not well rated. If they can polish them further that would translate to alot more sales for them.

Extremely bad performance. Despite setting the cache to "no limit" and enabling "prefetch over cellular, it shows "no items" when the app is launched. It takes a minute to show the first couple of photos, then another minute for a couple more, etc. The browser version is significantly faster, even on the same device using the same network, as it displays all photos instantly, albeit loading thumbnails obviously takes some time. This app is only really useful for its auto-upload feature.

No where near as good as Google Photos, but mostly fine. Biggest feature request I have is, since facial recognition isn't super great, to be able to tag photos as having people. Currently, the only way to tag is to see which faces the app pulled out on its own. If the app doesn't recognize a photo as having a face, you can't tag anyone in that photo.
