Mob deposit not good Love the app for everything else except the new mobile deposit feature. Goes through validating deposit screen before I've even tried taking the picture. Also my camera alone takes crystal clear high res images but through the app it is always fuzzy. I try moving closer and farther away to focus and it's clear for a second but then seems like auto focus works in reverse and auto un-focuses before I can touch the button to get the shot
Dated This app seems incredibly dated. I understand trying to maintain compatibility with older devices but let's use some of the new Android features such as fingerprint unlock. Also, pleeeeeease go read the Material graphic guidelines. I feel like I'm using my Droid X on Gingerbread when I use this app. Mobile check cashing is so slow that I literally had to increase my screen timeout so it wouldn't shut off while it was "validating" the check.
F for effort With the technology available 2day there's NO REASON you shouldn't be able to provide a better app than this. Your site can but the app cant even provide something as simple as displaying check numbers & pics of checks but the app cant? Also, i realize that it's our responsibility as acct holders to keep up with an acct register but again... with the technology available 2day you can't provide your customers with an app that can actually give updated and accurate balances/transactions? Extremely slow Took about 10 minutes or more to do a mobile deposit. Navigating in the app has such lag. It's so slow it's almost impossible to use. In fact during the one mobile deposit it stopped in the middle of it saying I was logged out for inactivity. Needs to be fixed!
Check deposits Can't make check deposits despite using the best camera on the market. Plus having to take the photo manually, major banks take the photo automatically when the check is clear. Wife uses Wells Fargo and has never had a problem. At the moment I'm zero and three. Going to the bank tomorrow to do this the ol fashioned way.
Mobile deposit works poorly at best. When rejecting a deposit, no reasons or tips are given, just an endless "retry?" loop. The only suggestion given is to call the toll free number. I called today after more than one struggle depositing checks. I was told that a federal treasury check can't be deposited. When I mentioned that would be good feedback to get FROM THE APP I was told the info was on the web site. My credit union with two branches has a far more user friendly app.
