I'm sorry but... Ok so I'm sure this app is amazing and great and one of the best but that's if you pay and I don't want to pay nearly £10 just to learn a song that I can learn for free on the Internet or youtube. I got this app because I couldn't find out how to play duffy just one person 2 hands and this app didn't help at all, I'm really sorry it's just alot to pay for something I can get for free. I don't want to sound rude or anything I just wanted to say that it's a bit to much money in my opinion
Great updated product, now can use short-code A few months back Synthesia required users to make an additional $10 purchase in order to use the the mobile version of this app (regardless if the buyer own a copy of it on the desktop). Today, I am happy to report that the user can use his/her short-code to use the FULL mobile version! I gave this app a second chance when I saw there was a reply to one of my reviews a few months back stating a compromise in terms and agreements. Cheers, Synthesia team!
BEST PIANO APP EVER I find this game to be very educational, and addicting! Although I am not playing using the correct method, this app allows you to learn how to play many classic and well known songs on piano. I also like how there are some free songs to play. But there are some parts that could be improved. 1. The price for unlocking Synthesia is a bit expensive, but not too expensive. Maybe make it a little cheaper? 2. The keys you need to press should be more highlighted, to make it easier. 3. More color schemes. 4.Slow down the easiest bridal march! It's 2fast4me. And now I have said what I think of Synthesia.
Very...um...educational...I guess... How do I put this... oh yeah!THIS IS A PIANO APP. NOT A FREAKING GAME. THIS IS FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE INTERESTED IN A MUSICAL CAREER. IF YOU SAY ITS BORING, YOU JUST SUCK AT MUSIC. THERE IS MORE TO LIFE THAN SPORTS AND GAMES.
I love this app. I have the PC version and the Android one. I usually connect my tablet to my piano and put it on the music stand. I had piano lessons years ago as a child and gave up eventually, partly through not being able to play what I wanted to. As with most things, motivation is key to learning. I can download any midi song I fancy playing, load it into Synthesia, and play around with it to my heart's content. I play the bits I like, often songs that are way too difficult for my limited abilities. It keeps bringing me back to my piano and has also got others interested in learning. I'm not saying this is a replacement for a proper teacher, just that it's great fun and very motivating. The same as Rocksmith is on the guitar!
Synthesia used to be a great program, on PC, at least. The paid content was nice, but not a necessity. But as it got more updated, pretty much the entire program was shoved behind a paywall. This version is no exception. I often use (an outdated, but free) PC version to learn songs I find around the internet, but without my computer, I can't really do that. $1 or so for the ability to import MIDIs alone without all the extra stuff would be fine, but I'm not paying $8 to get a bunch of other features and songs I'm never going to use. I realize you gotta make money somehow, but that's a bit overboard.
