Beautiful + Easy + Informative The first day I used it, I found it inaccurate, because I didn't calibrated it. The second day I did it casually, and bang on the moon was exact behind the app's moon. That tell the accuracy. Now I can find all planets and can see them when they rise or set. Great app for a man who loves the space but dont have any equipment to enjoy its beauty! And all this comes as free in small MB size. I cant believe it!!
Amazing for showing our kids the real map of the sky, and not the one that we guess about while pointing fingers all over the sky. For the calibration issues on Android, make sure you do the figure 8 calibration as the guide tells you during setup. Where first installed, south was north and everything was upside down. The figure 8 fixed the issue immediately. Have fun, this is an incredible app.
It's nice that this app can show you what each star and planet is and where it's going. However, I don't know if it is because I have android 7 or if it is the app, but this application can't seem to use the sensors on my decide correctly. It can't calibrate and it goes 'hay-wire' when I point the device at what should be North or South. Please fix these issues.
This is a really cool app. Some friends introduced me to it at a Dave Matthews outdoor concert. The weather was night, stars were in the sky but this app enhanced the sky with an outline of LEO in the Constellation. Awesome!! And when my phone faced the ground (camera still on) a campus showed up. Awesome again!!
I love this app. It's amazing. I can see what's around me in the sky and how everything is moving. It has been helpful in knowing when the moon will rise and from where at some important events also. The background music is also very soothing. The best thing is I don't need to keep my internet on for it to show the correct space map at the time.
Sucks. Don't waste your time. The calibration method doesn't work at all. This app used to be awesome, but then it just stopped working for Motorola Droid turbo 2. It IS the app, because I've gotten multiple device replacements, and it's the same issue. I point it at the actual moon, and it's in reality thousands of miles off. Don't bother downloading it if you have a Droid. Not worth the time. It's ashame, too, because this app used to be fantastic.
