T2 Mood Tracker is designed to help you track your emotional experience over time and to provide you with a tool to share this information with your health care provider.
This app comes with six pre-loaded issues: anxiety, depression, general well-being, head injury, post-traumatic stress, and stress. You can also add customized scales on any topic (e.g., a pain scale). You use simple sliders to rate yourself on these behavioral categories and the app automatically graphs your inputs. You can also make notes describing things that happened during the day that may have affected your moods. This provides you and your health care provider with a complete tool to help you uncover patterns in how you are feeling. It may also help you to evaluate the impact of daily events or the effects of treatment on your mood.
T2 Mood Tracker was developed by the National Center for Telehealth & Technology (T2), the Defense Department’s primary agency for applying innovative technology to issues of psychological health and traumatic brain injury
• Report generator makes sharing results simple! Generate PDF or CSV reports to print or email to your health care provider.
• Backup database saves all your data on the SD card. Easily move your T2 Mood Tracker results to a new phone or save a backup off-phone, so you don’t lose your data if you lose your phone.
• Locate psychological health support in your area via the Outreach Center link.
• Program the reminder to update your moods as often as you like - weekly to several times a day.
• Pre-loaded with six common issues. Customize with ANY feeling or issue you want to track.
• Results display in easy to read color graphs with pinch zoom, customizable symbols, and options to display as much or as little data you desire.

Very good I find it very useful and I find it easy to use. One thing I'd like to see updated- when using the sliders right to the edge (e.g scoring a 0 or a 10 on something), you can't really tell if slider is right at the end, so it's very easy to accidentally rate it more like a 1 when you wanted to rate it 0 for example. I would also like to be able to customise categories of sliders from the presets as I feel there are too many ratings in each category for me. Overall though a very good app.

Love it This app was recommended by my therapist and has been helpful in showing me where my issues are. I have experienced no app issues. Only complaints are more like suggestions. A way to optimize or customize the colors would be great, especially in the more specific categories. It can get pretty hard to tell the difference, and for a color blind person probably impossible. I would also like a way to bookmark or otherwise mark specific sections for discussing with a professional.

This app is great for staying aware of what's happening in treatment. It can track dissociation, depression, social isolation, or anything else you need. It can also help you keep YOU accountable: I added a "Self-care" category, and I quickly found myself eating more and self-isolating less just to get better scores. One thing it does need is better default categories (too many fields) and more ways of tracking things (labeling fields instead of just their ends). The reminders don't work, so I use alarms.

Love app but minor issue with graphs. When I use graphs and turn my phone sideways it crashes. Also thank you for making this. It helped me discover my 6-8 week depression cycle. So you have helped at least one person.

Very good tool This is a great tool for me. However, the app crashes when I try to view graphs in landscape mode. Also, it's not clear to me on custom categories if the hi value is the positive or negative trait.

Good app-simple & helpful tool. I havent had any issues with the app crashing. I like that categories can be added. My only complaint is that the font size on the graph is too small (can't read it). I wish the font size could be changed. Otherwise, i like the app.

Questions repetive I don't like how it tracks combined scores for depression, anxiety, PTSD etc.. I'd rather it only ask me to rate particular symptoms once not multiple times in different sections. Not finding this very useful.
Crashes! Like a few others, I've experienced the app crashes whenever I try to view my graph. I've reported the bug and messaged the developers, and heard nothing. Once that's fixed, this will go back to 5.
I love being able to track my moods I really am enjoying the mood tracker but have problems with it crashing when I try to view the graphs. It also won't export which my therapist was really hoping for.
Crashes I had no problem at all until I added my first note. Now it crashes any time I try to view notes or the chart.
Read the EULA - Uncle Sam wants to get to know you. U.S.A. Department of Defense Software. I love my country but the feds are not getting this info from me. No way Jose.
Very nice extremely useful Graph needs some work its super tiny. Needs to have a spot for medications taken. and how much sleep recieved. Add that and will give a 5. Like that you can track mood multiple times a day. (Thanks very helpful.) :)
Awesome!!! Tracks all aspects of mental health including ptsd and head injury. Even my doctors love its thoroughness and ease of use.
Used to love this app This app was great until the last update. Now it crashed whenever I try to view my graphed results.
Very helpful app It's a very helpful app. I depend on it to keep track of my moods, to be mindful of how I am feeling.
Chart doesn't work It shuts down, so I cant see my past moods and if I've improved or not.
Great app Has a sliding scale and great that i have something i can use to guage my mood and what I'm feeling
Sync Hello I was wondering if I use two different devices and input data in them, is there any way to sync
Still cannot view my notes without it force stopping Please fix this. It's been over two months.
Like the app but now it crashes when i try to view graph.
I know it will be very helpful once I figure out how to get it access to my background data
Last update sucks It works great but how do i tell them it sucks now due to crash on view graph
Great tool! It will allow you to help you in so many ways.
The old jammies that's where it At! 80's mamma's and papiS ah ha ah ah ah hah!!!!!!?! Now what??????!!?!!!!!? Hahahahaha Next?
Highly recommending! I'm the geek among my friends, family and clients. A client asked if there was an app to track her menopausal moods. This app (so far) is fantastic! I had downloaded and and tested at least a dozen. This one easy rose to the top. Especially, since I didn't notice any annoying ads and very customizable. And notes! Yes the ability to use notes! VERY, very nice! Looking forward to exploring any other app you have!
I set notifications because I'm using this partly to track my ADHD symptoms too but I haven't seen a single notification since I installed it a couple of days ago and I'm pretty sure I turned it on. Is there a known bug or something I should double check? Would love to give this five stars if the notifications can be fixed.
Much better after recent update, seems very good now! This app does exactly what I need. Custom categories, reminders, reports and tracking, all good. The newest update fixes almost all the bugs I've found. Congrats to the developers for the speedy response to the bad updates. I'm looking forward to trying it out again! One feature request though: it would be great if we could add more than 3 reminder times.
Great function, outdated design I love this app, it works perfectly and suits all my needs. I especially love being able to customize and export. However, aesthetically it looks like something out of a 1980s corporate training video. Would love to see some updates to the appearance.
Very useful The slide bars enable you to give more meaningful answers than many similar apps I looked at and the app as a whole is fairly intuitive and easy to use. I do have one minor quibble with it (other than it being American and the help and support information consequently being useless for non-US users) but I can't remember what it is, which just shows how minor it was, I suppose
The app itself is great... But it needs a "light" theme option. I just can't use this, was hoping there would be an option in "settings". It's completely customizable. But it needs a UI overhaul. I had this years ago, & not much has changed. It's too dark. In an app thats selling point is it's complete customization ability, this is sadly lacking at the very least a "light" theme. Oppressive & dark isn't great for a mental health app that's supposed to make you feel better (by helping yourself). I'm not a fan of dark apps, & given the success of material design I can't imagine I'm the only 1 who would prefer a lighter, fresher looking theme.
Well done. As a mental health provider I work with civilian & military service members and their families. This app provides opportunities for reflection and processing of distress events. Drawback, it could be benificial to have an alarm for random/scheduled logs. This could assist with the evaluation of distress and acknowledging positive coping. Well done app.
Great app, w minor flaws Constructive criticism: - some of the activities suggested for exercise might be out of many peoples’ abilities due to age, injury. Please consider including more activities that would be better suited for injured, disabled, or aging patients. - the "Common Coping Skills" module should have some suggestions in it. People with depression often find it difficult to even think of things to do, so this could be helpful.
Bugs patched, now wonderful One of few trackers that give nuanced options like tense/not and stressed/not instead of just good/bad. Can choose what you want to see in a chart or select one category to look at more closely (some really nitpicky options lacking, but good for most users). Can set up own lists of things to track. Wish it tracked period to make it easier to see how things change related to that. One remaining bug is that if you change your phone orientation while recording, it resets.
Great App minor flaws I love this app. It does exactly what i need of it. However the notes section has unavoidable crashes everytime one scrolls down even slightly, to look back at old notes. This hopefully will be fixed soon.
Great App I love this app. It is very easy to customize and can be used to track anything, not just moods. I have fibromyalagia. I track pain, sleep, fatigue and exercise to see if there are any correlations.
