BEST. PRACTICE. TOOL. EVER!!!! This is a mirror for your ear. There are many tuning apps out there, but this one allows you to see the waveform you are creating. Not only in terms of pitch, but how steady your breath flow is and how your tones are connecting or not. Many have very well developed ears, but still have a blind spot when it comes to listening to themselves. This app bridges the gap by giving a very objective visual display of what everyone else is hearing.

It's pretty great for singing, I suspect. It is almost good enough to use to practice speech tones (like Thai or Mandarin), except that you have to speak very slowly and zoom to the maximum (horizontally) to see the shape. Also it breaks up for deeper male speech registers - better for higher registers.

Overall, a very useful app for monitoring pitch and for quickly recording and playing back singing clips for immediate feedback. It's too easy to accidentally delete a recording. Disable the record button when it's already recording. Show a confirmation popup before overwriting an unsaved recording to start a new one.
