FEDERAL LAW PROHIBITS ANYONE BUT REGISTERED USERS WITH HEARING LOSS FROM USING INTERNET PROTOCOL (IP) CAPTIONED TELEPHONES WITH THE CAPTIONS TURNED ON. There is a cost for each minute of captions generated, paid from a federally administered fund.
There are also eligibility requirements and a cost, paid by a federally administered fund for each minute of IP Relay service.
Emergency calling through Nagish works similar to, but not the same as, calling 911 directly through a landline. It is important to keep your Nagish Registered Location updated.

As someone who has recently lost their hearing, I was completely lost and isolated. finding this app has changed my ability to communicate better than with other apps. hearing people adjusted fairly well, and now I'm able to interface with the world just a little better. the only thing I can't do is leave a message. it doesn't register the beep tone. I'm thrilled with Nagish. thank you so much!

All I need is a simple app that can caption live calls without being forced to change my phone number or confuse people with multiple phone numbers. My carrier isn't listed under the option to forward, and I'm simply too exhausted to read the essay from tech support explaining how "easy" it might be to set up. You know what's easier? having a speech-to-text app on an auxiliary device and only having one phone number.

This app worked well for about a week. Then it had my phone so screwed up, I uninstalled it. My phone would ring and before I had a chance to answer, it would cut off. When I called out on the app, the answering party was delayed in receiving my voice. My calls were cut off unexpectedly. VERY FRUSTRATING! Wish I could give it no stars. Very hard to deal with for an old guy hard of hearing.
