Awful pixelation when sharing... This app seems to be the only good gif maker on android BUT when you share the gif to hangouts, twitter, or basically anything that is not gif boom it looks like it was shot with a 1MP camera. TERRIBLE. The image looks great in the GifBoom gallery but once you view it in a hangout its almost impossible to tell whats going on the image is so bad. Also, lots of force closes after GIF creation. Its a shame, I would pay $ for a proper GIF creator.
Not what I was expecting... This app creates great gifs, and has great editing options. However, when you upload them to social media (Tumblr, Facebook, Twitter), you have to follow a link to the gifboom website to watch the gif. Also, when using an android, there is no option to download the gif to your photo gallery... which is super annoying. I also don't like how it is another form of social media. I just wanted an app that creates gifs by using photo bursts.
Needs some fixes Okay let's see... before some of the updates, the gifs were perfect, but now, almost every gif I make is super blurry and pixelated. That needs to be fixed, please! Also, obviously everyone already knows this, but android gifboom has a lot less features than iPhone does. I want to be able to make collages, and download gifs and such. Please update soon!
Pixels... Until this app gets updated and collages are supported (like ios) and the gifs don't come out pixilated and blurred, I am going to keep the review at one star. This app is worthless without having the ability to save gifs to my camera roll without losing so much quality that the gifs are impossible to interpret
Lacks features already present on iPhone If this had the caption option, or collage, as I think it's called, like the iPhone version has, this app would get the 5 star rating it deserves.
From apple to android and it sucks Used to have this app on my iphone, worked a lot better till they updated it. Eventually got an android and this app sucks, fails to load 80% of gifs while on a wifi connection. Also could use a make over on the gif downloading. Should never compress. People would be fine with tad bit longer download times if they were decent quality. Multiple downloads would be a nice feature but not existant in the app.
☆ Music: you can now add and play Music with your GIF

We are busy working on major updates! Stay tuned. Thank you from Gifboom HQ.
