I have the book and love it! This app makes it possible to read the daily devotions and share them anytime. You can make notes on each devotion, which is nice. Update: I see that others are having trouble with what I call the "click view." I did find out how to get the original view of the devotion and how to rearrange it to my liking. Thanks for a great app. 03/20/2024 I do enjoy both the Spurgeon portion and the Streams in the Desert portion. It's nice to be able to share both portions.

In book form this is an excellent set of daily devotionals. However, in the app you can only advance through the text by tapping one page at a time and I find no way to go backwards without advancing to the end then starting over at the beginning. I'm very pleased with the content but the interface is not user friendly.

Love that the app gently reminds me to check the day's reading. An e-form of the classic -- yes, I have the hard copy, too -- the content is as solid and thought-provoking as always, and the photo illustrations reaffirm the peace and stillness our souls can find. I rarely write reviews, but this app helps keep my all-too-easily distracted and straying heart grounded and ever present with God.
