Press 'Application', Get Settings It's that easy. I lost half a day to find it out. Anyway, great port of a great classic. Don't let the peasants sway you, easy games are for the weak.
Perfect. (Updated) This port is better than playing on my PC. Literally nothing I could ask for to make it a better port. UPDATE: Since last year I got a new phone, went from a LG Lucid/"Cayman" (4 inch screen) to a Galaxy Note 4 (5.7 inch screen). This game worked just as well on my old phone's tiny screen (kudos for good design), but this overly large screen lets me play zoomed out all the way and still see each tile. I also wanted to mention that the app is still being updated as the game is, and sometimes bug fixes.
A great port of the most sophisticated game ever made Quality of the port: excellent. The touch controls are great (I fudge movement a bit more often than I do with a numeric keypad, but it's never killed me), and I haven't noticed any bugs or oddities. Substantially better than the iOS iNethack2. And of course it's Nethack, which - despite its opacity and frequent unfair dice rolls - remains the most compelling and interesting video game I've ever played. And it's the only game on my tablet that I keep coming back to.
Fine port of a classic Makes good use of a tiny touch screen, with pinch zoom, on map press and key slide bar at the bottom. In few other games can you be a heavily armoured invisible telepathic orcish wizard with a towel wrapped around your head and then find that "do I feed this cat?" is a big decision.
Really needs a tutorial, at the very least. This game just seems really dumb and unnecessarily confusing to me, so I guess I'm missing something. Don't feel like wasting my hours learning something that went obsolete almost 30 years ago.
Still the best RPG I've been playing this for years. I still haven't ascended. Yet I continue to play obsessively.
