This is cool. The redirects from shortened URLs are annoying and this does make it a little quicker especially if there are multiple redirects so you can go directly to the app of the url (Google+, Facebook, Twitter, play store, etc) without having to go to the browser first. I've been using this app for a while now on multiple devices & still like it very much.
Buggy First time I played with it, I got the message "Unshortening failed: Unable to connect to URL" which is now up on my screen covering up the keyboard and will not go away--strike that, it just went away, it just had an extremely long timeout.
Small but great function! I love how this app can bypass every single ads that hide the actual website. Hopefully an app like this will be created for Windows, Mac and Linux.
Very useful This app saves a lot of time and resources, especially on older devices.
Excellent app I'd like to see it add support for some of the newer short URLs used by the big media sites (ABC news, ESPN, NBC news, etc.).
Thank you Makes clicking twitter links less of a hell hole. Allows me to open links in the right apps straight away
Thanks to the Reddit community (/r/android) for the great response and feedback!
-Polished settings UI
-A toast is shown immediately to provide quick UI feedback, a followup toast then replaces the first after the URL has been unshortened
-Support for a few new URL shortener services: Reddit, Instagram, Sound Cloud, and Strava
-Added sample URLs for the newly supported URLs
-Fixed one networking bug related to weak or no network connectivity
-Adds a broken sample link for testing
