Love the company. Love the app. Love the courses. I own about 60 of them. Wasn't sure how else to present a technical complaint than through the app review: The captions are stacking improperly, on top of each other, instead of above and below each other. Also, I find no option to disable captions. Please send a patch or update? Thanks.

This is my first time using Great Courses. I am thoroughly enjoying The Other Side of History. The lecturer is a very good Storyteller and keeps the subject matter very interesting. I do have a small concern about the buffering that goes on during the lecture but so far it doesn't seem to be continuing for an extensive length of time although it does happen fairly frequently. I will be considering other courses in the future.

If I were rating the actual product, I'd give it five stars. But alas, this is a review of the app. Compared to apps like Audible, the thing is just clunky and slow. That's why I listen to the Great Courses through audible whenever possible. The navigation is clunky. In audible, you just open the app and the book plays. Here you have to open the app, scroll down to select your course, then scroll through to find the last lecture you were on. Great product but poor app
