Love it! Love this great app and especially being able to customize. Only thing missing from it being perfect is that the graphics are sometimes too cutesy for older kids.
Good, but NOT for Division Math facts First, this is the best flash card app I've found for Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication. My son is in third grade and is starting his division math facts and that is where this app is lacking. The app list division math facts vertically (like the addition, subtraction, and multiplication facts) but division facts in real life are never presented in this way-- they are either horizontal or with the division bracket. Secondly-- kids that would benefit from this app are learning their math facts from 0 to 10 or 0 to 12, however in the settings you are only allowed to select the range of number being divided and the number it is divided by-- so, if I want to study facts from 0 to 12, I would want the divisor (number divided by to be 0 to 144) and the ANSWER to be 0 to 12, NOT the dividend (number you are dividing by). Because of the way the app is set up if you select the upper number as 0 to 144 and the bottom number (not the answer) to be 0 to 12, then you will end up doing math facts like 144 divided by 4-- which is not a useful fact to learn. To make this app division friendly, you should be able to select the range of the divisor and the range of the answer.
The best flashcard app of many tried. This is the very best math practice /flashcard app. I tried many, and settled on this one after trying the free version. I only wish the range was quicker and easier to set up.. Why can't we just type in 3-12, instead of selecting all those numbers individually? It's a good thing it only needs to be done once when setting up each card set.
This is better for multiplication/division than addition/subtraction Our school classifies math facts not by the addends, but by the sums. "Your test on Friday will be on all the addition math facts with sums to 14." I wish I could make 6+8 and 5+9 and omit 5+10. Adding this functionality would be very helpful for addition. Similarly, for subtraction, our school classifies the numbers by the difference, not by the minuend or subtrahend. Adding this functionality would be helpful. Thank you.
Subtraction set will not let you do a set of 100 cards Overall it is a very good app. But the subtraction set will not let you do a set of 100 cards, it defaults to 55 card set. So unbenownst to you, your child is only doing half the work you set the deck for. Need to fix this for my little mathematician!
Great It allows me to select what facts I want my child to practice. I love this. I wanted to be able to select 2 x 1-15, and 4 x 1-15 so my kids could see the relationships are similar. Then I will add 3 x 1-15 and 6 x 1-15. This app lets me have them practice exactly what I want them to practice. Not just random facts. Randomization is good for a test, but focussed practice is very very helpful. If they let me set up multiple decks that could be saved and quickly swapped out, I would give it 5stars.
