Marie Lewis, Rochdale

“My class have reaped loads of benefits from using the programme and the difference in some of their reading skills has been dramatic."
Maria Andrews, Foundation Phase Teacher

"This is a fabulous game. I'm not kidding when I say that my daughter essentially learned all her letter sounds using First steps, with relatively minimal input from me! Great for parents to practise their letter sounds too."

Near perfection educationally yet fun. Very easy to navigate and get right into. Simple yet challenging. Only complaint thus far is the "Th" sound is incorrect. Unsure if there are any others like this but some aren't super clear and this makes the learning experience confusing. Please look into this and keep creating 🙏 add more mini games as well 💯

Exceptional app!! My son is on the spectrum and is mostly nonverbal. He loves this. He repeats the sounds, is able to associate the letters to the sounds. Has a little difficulty on getting the ducks in the lake (using a mouse on Android box). He almost has the order of letters to drop on the spaceship board. Repetition and a little help work great. Very pleased with his improvement over a short time. Impressed that backing out of the app doesn't lose progress. He gets extremely excited playing.

3 of my kids have used Teach Your Monster to Read and LOVED it. It is so fun and just the right amount of challenging to help them learn their letters and practice what we're learning at home. Sometimes the English accent throws them off a bit, but all the beginning sounds are clear and easy for them to understand. The rest they just catch onto after a while. My youngest is now using Teach Your Monster Numbers and it is amazing! So great for young learners and is as fun as always. I recommend this to everyone I know.

What's new

• Play the brand new Space Blaster minigame, where you mine the asteroids for fuel to get home. Play in Practice mode and tell us what you think!
• We’ve also made some improvements including new launch and background screens, new VO, adding Lava minigame into the second game ‘Fun with words’ and permitting special characters and hyphens for player names.
We want to make this game as great as it can possibly be, so please leave a review, we read every one!
