I love the app and how it functions on both desktop and on my phone, and I feel like there's lots of great features embedded in the system. The calendar function is awesome, being able to get right to Google maps if the location is input properly, and the ability to share photos are all really wonderful. I do have two complaints. The first is the difficulty in purchasing the paid version of the app. The ads sometimes come up as full splash pages that are hard to dismiss, so I opted to upgrade pay the $1.99/mo for the full version. TeamSnap offers a 30 day trial, which is awesome—and my initial payment was refunded when I subscribed. However, there was no notification or anything else to indicate when my trial ended (and no automatic charge to my card). I only realized that the trial had ended when a full ad came up. I went back in and resubscribed and reentered payment information, so hopefully it will work now, but that is not a great process for subscribing. The second issue is that I frequently experience a lag in chat updates. I'll get a notification on my phone and will see the first few words of a new message, but when I go into the chat option, the message is not there. The process for updating seems irregular... sometimes I can completely close the app and reopen it and the message will be there. Other times it takes several minutes for the message to finally come through. This is troublesome when parents are trying to communicate and the messages are time-sensitive. I am hoping that this was only a problem because I was on the trial version of the app, but I guess time will tell. Otherwise, great app and super useful for coordination.

Great way to communicate with the team and coaches. Love the link to maps for ease finding new fields/ game locations. Ads are a little in your face at times, and it would be great to have an easy way to see what color jersey we need to wear for games since we don't have a very clear home field. Otherwise a very thoughtful app.

The fact that the chat feature is only available in the app, yet the app fails to load new chats sometimes for hours after they're sent, is just ridiculous. If they aren't going to load in the app, no matter how many times I refresh, close out, reopen, etc is very frustrating as a coach! Fix it or make the charts available on the TeamSnap website please.
