Barely worked half the time. They need more features to boost accuracy. Like a user input for the plants identifying features (color, dimensions, leaf shape, leaf cluster amount, berries, flower shape/color, et cetera) to boost accuracy. Otherwise when it fails (which will be often) it will cost $2 a plant to have a person give you a correct answer. Also, a way to say NO to the obviously wrong plants to better focus the results (that way it stops telling me a red flower is an elephant ear or a blackberry)
I have problems verifying my email what is the email address that I send the verification email to? Otherwise it's a decent app the search function is good and the photos function could be more accurate. It might help to update the list of plants in the app as well. :) otherwise definitely a decent app
INSTANTLY identified a volunteer plant in my garden. Five stars if not for several crashes. I think it can't cope with large images. Edit: actually I don't think it can cope with ANY images. Even 100kb causes the app to crash. It also supposedly couldn't validate my email. It's unfortunately simply unusable. That's a great shame, as if it were working properly it would be pure brilliance
Needs someone to check the pictures you are supposed to compare your plant to. Most of the pictures are so blurry you can't compare the leaf or the flower to the picture you just took. Not sure if this is intentional, or a compression issue to save space on their server. I would happily deal with ads if it meant I got clear pictures
Queen of the Night Within just a few hours of submitting my photos and details learned from trial and error I received precise information about my mystery plant. Love this app and the simplicity of use. Recommend this app without hesitation.
Better than others This App. Garden Answers worked better than previous apps i have tried. Pity it was not 100% instant but the email follow up was accurate.
