It doesn't work with my LG G3 nor my Nexus 7 2013. Both rooted, but never prompted to use it (SuperSU). Tried with and without the add-ons it wanted me to install. Huge disappointment. :(
had a problem after the update, couldn't control my samsung s4mini anymore, but i uninstalled it and reinstalled it and problem is solved. great app, very happy with it other than that minor hiccup
Love it but some issues I really really want to give this app 5 stars as I have a lot of friends out of state that need help with their mobile devices at times. I can connect without issue to my Samsung s5 active but I have tons of issues when it comes to clicking. If I click the home button about 10 times I'm able to get samsung voice, Google now and eventually the home screen but I'm unable to to open folders or apps. The arrow keys help but can't do everything. Once this is patched it'll be a great app!
I installed this app to access and control my phone from my computer, because no VNC server worked for me. Both computer and PC have to be connected to the Internet, which wouldn't be necessary with a simple VNC server, but I can live with that. The requirement for Internet connection means the phone can be controlled remotely with ease, even when the PC and the phone are not on the same local network, so it's understandable. Installation is easy and hassle-free. The desktop application shows the remote phone's CPU usage, RAM usage, installed Apps and other info. Very cool, and it may come in handy. Remote Control could use some polishing - some keystrokes (especially arrow keys, backspace and enter) often cause the screen to flicker and other weird behaviours. It is a bit sluggish and laggy. It's good enough to be usable, but another screen share app I tried (one which used H.264 compression) was very fast and responsive. My phone is a Nexus 4 running rooted stock Lollipop 5.1.1.
Can view not control nexus 6; both work Samsung Able to remote control Samsung note 4 and s3. Can view but not control Nexus 6. Other wise works pretty well.
After hours of fiddling with trying to get this to work I just can not figure it out. Using a nice Galaxy TAB S and latest AOSP Cyanogen 5.1.1. Other remote apps work just fine thankfully, but this one refuses to work. I can send chat messages back and forth, but cannot remote control, it just says please wait for ever. Uninstalled and reinstalled and uninstalled and reinstalled over and over to no avail. 5 stars once this starts working on latest Android 5.1.1
