2. On the device you want to connect to, download TeamViewer QuickSupport
3. Enter the ID from the QuickSupport app into the ID field and connect

Too many issues. Security risks, connection drops, and extremely aggressive commercial-use detection even for personal use. Resource-heavy and limited features unless you pay. TeamViewer used to be great, but it’s bloated and completely unreliable now. I’ve switched to RustDesk—lighter, safer, and actually free.

Generally speaking, I love using this app. I've been a very happy user for a little over a decade now, and the phone app for a couple of years. The one major issue that I have is that when using the mobile app, the mouse click options are just super unreliable, and the fact that you can't click and hold is unfortunate. Could be vastly improved with a separate tab for mouse control with a button to right/left click much like the secondary keyboard tab

Great app, worked fine till recently. Tried to connect to my personal computer from my phone and It flagged it as for commercial use. I only use it for personal cases. If you say it is free for personal use, then why does it keeps on timing out after about a minute. Feels like they force you to use paid version. Tired of that, switched to AnyDesk. So far it worked better for me.

What’s new

- The onboarding experience for first-time users has been improved. The app now begins with the sign-in/sign-up process, but users can still skip this step if they wish to explore.
- Its is now possible to wake-up sleeping managed devices via the app.
- Fixed a bug that prevented users from connecting to desktop Host managed devices via prompt for confirmation.
