Incredibly easy to set up and use. I use my old computer as a media server and have it stored away. I use my phone or tablet to control it when I need to and the app is very intuitive and fast. Far superior to chrome RD or Microsoft RD. My only complaint is that dragging and dripping takes some getting used to. Very well deserved 5 stars
Awesome. Does what I need. The only issue I have is that the mobile version (this app) can't use more than the default port. Why allow the desktop version to have multiple ports and not the mobile app? Wouldn't you think you need MORE ports for a mobile app, because of all the various connections? Give us the option to choose the port we want to use, both on the desktop and in the app, even an advanced option. Best of both worlds, right?
Conceptually great and the remoting elements are superb, the problem with the app is if you manage upward of 2000 computers, it's impossible to find one in a large list as the app scrolls to the top every few seconds, probably due to a PC changing status. The app doesn't have a basic search either. Managing 50 pcs is fine managing 5000 is rubbish.
Great for personal use, expensive for businesses. Very simple to use and setup. Many features. I really wish there was a paid tier around $50 a year for occasional users that want to support the product but aren't going to get their roi on a business license.
Lack of true touch input control is a real head-scratcher. Directions are swapped because you're controlling the remote cursor, not the canvas (screen). Also, having to drag the cursor location around is clunky and counterintuitive for anyone who uses touch controls. Which is everyone, since this is a mobile app. Easy fixes that would make this 5* for me.
I just dinged team viewer one star. have been using it for a while flawlessly for a long time. I just now encountered a bug when I added a portrait oriented monitor to my windows 10 setup. the screen on my tablet now flashes like a strobe whenever I click and drag the mouse. Android 5.1.
