They broke a great application... For as long as I can remember, I've been able to connect to my computers while away from home but suddenly I need a "commercial license" for my personal use... When I finally spoke with someone at TeamViewer, they explained that I can only connect to computers that are on the same network (only works while I'm at home connected to the same wifi). I asked why the sudden change and she explained that "this is the way it's always been", which is simply not true.

Thanks for your feedback. TeamViewer is always free for personal use even between different networks, as long as they are not commercial environments. More info on Personal Use is here:http://ow.ly/y7bN30snauP If your ID was flagged you can request reset here: https://www.teamviewer.com/en/reset-management/ We apologize for any confusion.

For about 10 years, I used this to connect to my home server from my phone for troubleshooting. Suddenly it says "commercial use detected, you can only connect for 5 minutes". It's very frustrating to randomly be disconnected and have to wait around for 2 minutes. It said free for personal use, and I'm a medical student who uses it for personal use. support is non existent unless you pay, it just takes you to a community forum when I click 'contact us'. It used to be a great app

Please note that using TeamViewer for personal use is free. To know why some devices can be flagged as commercial use and limit your connections, as well as a link to the reset form, please visit our community: https://community.teamviewer.com/English/kb/articles/5265 We appreciate your patience during this process.

I like the app, but its functionality on a mobile network is proving to be problematic. The windows version works pretty well, but the mobile app is where I'm having an issue. I added my mobile device as a secure connection and granted easy access. On my network it works very well. Login from mobile access requires a password that appears to reset each time the desktop is restarted. I can't log in without the latest password. 😕

Thanks for your feedback. Please ensure you are signed in on the mobile device with the same account Easy Access was granted for. There should be no issue connecting afterwards. Hope this helps!
