Ratings and reviews

Wish I could just tap on book, chapter and verse instead of having to roll up to each one then click go (guess I'm just lazy). However, this doesn't detract from the Bible version of the app. I really appreciate this easily understood version. That it is free is a real bonus. This is a great app and I would recommend it for anyone.

First of all, the CSB is a great translation. It's a readable, word-for-word translation that any modern English speaker will enjoy and greatly benefit from reading consistently. The app helps by offering smooth navigation and access to a bevy of extra features like study notes, maps, articles, and reading plans. For me, I appreciate how footnotes and cross references are handled. You can see the note or cross reference without leaving your original spot. It's a great app. Worth the cost.

This has become my go-to Bible. I especially like its responsiveness and note options. I have a low end phone and this app won out over a couple others with respect to no delays when navigating. For notes, there are four highlight colors in addition to underline and text notes. There are all the footnotes and cross references you would expect from a modern scholarly translation.
